In my podcast on Saturday I discussed how folks like Sadiq Khan, Brighton Council and that poltroon who is running Scotland into the ground gave extensive comment about Holocaust Memorial Day without using the J word. Yes, let’s not show any sympathy for the Jews and talk about Srebrenica instead. To be fair Brighton Council has now apologised. But it has not disciplined the person responsible. Words are cheap. The tweet was sent with intent and whoever sent it should be fired. Actions are what count. Over in the Socialist hell hole that is Canada, the top politician in British Columbia went further. His tweet, as you can see below is abhorrent.

I discuss why so many folks, especially the young, fail to grasp what a holocaust really is, what genocide really is and why it is more than ethnic cleansing. In part this is a history lesson for the young in part a sad tale about why fewer and fewer folks will say #NeverAgain and mean it. I challenge even those who dislike Peter Tatchell, who loathe his methods or who just don’t like homosexuals, to watch this film and not come away from it both liking and admiring the man. Those of us who think that that day, just over 50 years ago, when Peter arrived in Britain to escape being drafted by Australia to fight in Vietnam, was a very fortuitous day, for it has given us a true national treasure, start in a different place. Wherever you start, I suggest you go to Netflix as I did yesterday for a most riveting film.

The placard below comparing the Jews to the Nazis was hoisted at the pro Palestine march in London yesterday. Nobody on the march appeared offended. So many of them hate all Jews that they are happy with such sickening words. Natch the Police did nothing and so today we have seen cars flying Palestinian flags driving through Jewish parts of London urging folks to rape the daughters of Jews and worse. The video is below.

Mayor Khan says that thanks to Covid and the wicked Tories front line services in London are threatened by a funding crisis. So natch, what do you do about it but organise a virtual conference on the slave trade and looking at what it means for today’s society. This sort of thing might appeal to a few middle class intellectuals but I suspect that most ordinary Londoners, black or white, would rather have the cash spent on those threatened front line services. But it gets far worse because evil Sadiq is once again rewriting history as is his wont.

Of course, Mayor Khan is already active in erasing old history, pushing to pull down statues and rename streets. If you can do that, it will be even simpler for this simple man to make up a new history.

I cannot but help think that underneath it all Sadiq Khan is a pretty decent fellow. And all too often, as on knife crime in stab City, he is blamed unfairly for the manifest failings of others. But he does have a penchant for wasting other folks cash on pointless virtue signalling, such as the survey showing how racist cycling was, and when it comes to free speech he does apply a bit of a double standard. A case in point was the Trump blimp flown in London yesterday.

Not even mentioning Father’s Day, which she will no doubt forget tomorrow, my Islington based daughter Olaf honoured us with a visit to the boonies and Bristol yesterday. She was checking out the University in an open day and has decided that if things don’t go the right way at a proper seat of learning on the M40 she will, like all the other Oxbridge rejects, come here. Having checked out the University and come away really impressed she met up with myself, the Mrs and Joshua for lunch.

Uber has lost its London license thanks to Transport For London (TFL), a move applauded by useless Mayor Sadiq Khan, The Guardian, the BBC and black cab drivers. But it is very bad news indeed for London and I explain why. It is symptomatic of a new era of economic madness as is Theresa May claiming giving £20 billion (it will be more) to the EU is a good deal and our useless PM also trying to satisfy the greed of lazy and overpaid public sector workers. Perhaps the biggest sign of this madness and wish for economic hari-kiri is Labour's plan to renationalise the utilities. It is utter madness but no one dares say so. Jew haters rarely use the word Jew when making their despicable claims and demands. A hundred years ago the word Hebrew was used to describe a Jew. My maternal grandmother, in most ways a terribly progressive and tolerant lady had a blind spot here and would talk of "the chosen people," her words laced with Irony. These days the words Jew and Israeli are often used interchangeably. Since we are told repeatedly how evil Israel is, so too must be the Jews. But the current word to use is Zionist. When Turkey joins the EU its 75 million citizens will be able to travel and live in any other EU country. Turkey is a poor place ruled by David Cameron's pal the homophobic, sexist, fascist beast Erdogan and I do not blame any Turk for wanting to leave. And polls say that millions will leave and that Britain is a favourite destination. The only way to avoid millions of Turks - understandably - pitching up in the UK is to leave the EU. If only to please my Daily Mail loathing lefty Mrs, I bring you an example of some rather sloppy subbing at the Mail which allows us all a cheap joke at its expense. The story is about how the Labour candidate in the forthcoming Tooting by-election used to model swimwear and this gives the loathsome rag the chance to print a picture to cause cardiacs among retired Colonels in Tonbridge and boost circulation. It is a total non story but according to the Mail the candidate, Rosena Allin-Khan is married and has a picture of her with her husband below. Er...
